Laurie Colour Changing Solar Floating Pool Lights

Turn your pool into a gentle light show with the Laurie Colour Changing Solar Floating Pool Lights from Baloira. These solar floating pool lights are 10cm frosted ABS spheres that sit low in the water and cycle automatically through seven colours, so a handful scattered across a pool creates a slowly shifting glow with nothing for you to set or switch. A single switch on the base is the whole interface.

The built-in 2V solar panel charges the Ni-MH cell in 6 to 8 hours of daylight, and the lights come on by themselves after dark. They are not limited to water: the same sealed ball can hang from a branch on a cord, sit in a garden bed among planting or line a path, so a set bought for the pool also works around the rest of the yard. Choose a set of 2, 4 or 8 lights to suit the size of your pool or garden.

Rated IP65, the Laurie lights are dust-tight and sealed against water jets, so they handle pool water, ponds and Australian rain. They are decorative lights, not toys or swimming aids: always supervise children around pools and water, and never leave them unattended. A simple, magical, zero-running-cost way to add colour and atmosphere to warm evenings by the pool, the pond or anywhere in the garden.
